🚀 Exciting Updates to the Lynx Experience: Settings, Calendars, Training & More

We’re excited to share the latest updates and improvements to Lynx. Version 4.9.1 focuses on simplifying system configuration, improving event and calendar workflows, adding clearer guidance for users, and making training information easier to find and manage.

Version 4.9.1 has now been released and is available to all users.

New Updates

Refreshed Settings Experience

Settings pages have been redesigned to provide a cleaner, more consistent experience across Lynx.

Saved Filters for Courses and Assignments

Users can now save filters when working with training courses and assignments. Filter dropdowns have also been improved, making it easier to return to frequently used views and find the information your team needs.

Configurable Helper Text

Administrators can now configure helper text for supported areas of Lynx, including Contacts, Events and Incidents.

Event Titles in Calendar View

Events can now include an optional Event Title. When provided, the title appears as the main label in calendar view and is also available on the event form, event details page, and event grid.

More Flexible Event Additional Fields

Event additional fields can be associated with multiple event categories or subcategories, reducing duplicate setup and allowing the same field to be used across related event types.

Exports from Calendar View

Users can now export events directly from the calendar view. The export includes the events displayed on the current calendar page and follows the current grid configuration, including selected columns and their order.

Calendar Event Dashboard Widget

A new calendar event widget has been added to dashboards, making event information and upcoming activity easier to view at a glance.

Hover Text for Additional Fields

Administrators can now add hover text to additional fields in Settings, providing users with clearer guidance when completing forms.

Additional Field Groupings

Event additional fields can now be organized into configurable groups on event forms and event details pages. These groups can be reordered and will appear after the standard Additional Fields section.

Training Assignments in Dashboard Widgets

Training Assignments can now be used as a data source for custom dashboard widgets, including count lists and grouped charts.
