We’re thrilled to share the latest updates and improvements to Lynx that enhance your experience on the platform. Below, you’ll find details on new features, resolved issues, and guidance for getting the most out of Lynx's latest tools. Version 6 has now been released and is available to all users.
LYNX VERSION 4.6.1
New Features
New! Track Commitments
Teams can now track commitments of all types (formal, informal, IBA etc.) under the Commitments tab. Commitments include categories, priority and status tracking, with the option of adding Contacts, deliverables and even attachments.
New! Track Employee Training
Users can now track the completion and status of staff training programs under the Training Tab.
Contact and Contact Groups Updates
Contacts
Contacts have a range of new fields and functions including the ability to add multiple email addresses and phone numbers to individual contacts. For users interested in entering stakeholder mapping information, Level of Interest, Level of Influence, and Level of Engagement dropdowns have been added. For tracking employment information with internal contacts, employment start date, end date, and type inputs are now available.
Users can now save contact filters and access a mobile contact card when using a mobile device.
Contact Groups
Users can now add addresses and websites to Contact Groups, attachments and level of interest, level of influence, and level of engagement, plus dropdown options under Settings → Contacts.
Imports
Bulk imports are now available for Contacts and Contact Groups, saving users time when adding entire organizations during initial set-up.
Resolved Issues
-When changing Event Category, custom fields weren’t updated properly. We rectified the issue.
-When adding a subcategory in Settings there was a mislabeled heading. We fixed that right up.
-We fixed an error regarding Actions that were associated to Incidents, Events and Inspections weren’t deleted properly.
