Configuring User Permissions

Overview:

This guide explains how user permissions are managed in Lynx and where to review or update them. User permissions help determine what a user can access and how they can interact with records, workflow items, and related system features.

Permissions are managed by Organization Administrators in Settings → Organization. Depending on your organization’s setup, a user’s access may also be influenced by role assignments, category permissions, subscription type, or other system-level configuration.

This guide focuses on how to open user permission settings, understand user-level permission options, and review related category-based access.

Users who want a broader understanding of how access is structured in Lynx can also refer to the Permissions & Roles resource. This companion guide explains the different license types, operational roles, and permission levels available across the platform, and can help clarify why a user may have access to some records, modules, or functions but not others.
