We’re thrilled to share the latest updates and improvements to Lynx that enhance your experience on the platform. Below, you’ll find details on new features, resolved issues, and guidance for getting the most out of Lynx's latest tools. Version 4.8.5 has now been released and is available to all users.

New Updates
New Event Notifications
There are new notifications available in settings to alert users about due and overdue Events. Navigate to Settings>>Events.
Add ability to reorder and expand Event Details sections
The Event Details page includes many useful functions. Now users can rearrange and expand widgets, so you see the most useful information, right when you need it.
Wildlife AI Updates
We updated the Wildlife AI to improve identification accuracy, search speed, and overall reliability when processing field observations and monitoring records. The new version delivers faster results, better handling of historical wildlife data exports, and stronger support for pattern recognition across species observations and environmental reporting.
Updates to Imports
Asset and Event Category are no longer required defaults for Event imports, providing more flexibility around rapidly importing data. In addition, Subcategory was not previously available for imports but is now available.
Comment and Response Function for Community Engagement Events
Often, community engagement professionals will need to track their official response to community comments or concerns. Now on community engagement events only, a Comment and Response function can be utilized on the Event Details page.
Confidential attachments on initial reports for all users have been added.
