The latest updates from Lynx
Version 4.9.3 has now been released and is available to all users.
LYNX VERSION 4.9.3
New Updates
Expanded Effluent Water Quality and Flow Monitoring
Monitoring now includes additional tools for managing effluent water quality and flow information. Users can enter or import daily discharge volumes, review discharge activity, and view compliance graphs comparing monitoring results against applicable daily and monthly limits.
The Monthly Compliance view has also been improved with additional monthly statistics, and monitoring users can opt in to notifications when sample or monthly results newly become non-compliant.
Users can also export Wide Results to Excel using selected date, location, and parameter filters.
Improved Monitoring Results Filters
Monitoring Results can now be filtered by Parameter Group and Location Group. These groups are also available for use with dashboard widgets, making it easier to review monitoring information across related parameters and locations.
Improved Monthly Compliance Experience
Monthly Compliance information is now easier to review and filter. Periods are treated as dates, default to the newest month first, and Location and Parameter filters use dropdown selections to help users find the information they need more quickly.
Monitoring Analytics Improvements
Monitoring Analytics has been expanded in the Lynx AI experience. Analytics is now the default Monitoring AI option and can answer questions using summarized monitoring data, including questions related to averages, counts, and compliance.
Users can also optionally include indexed monitoring attachments and selected reference documents when additional context is needed.
Commitment Deliverables Grid
A new organization-wide Deliverables grid is now available from the Commitment Registry. Users can filter, sort, and review deliverables across commitments and quickly navigate from a deliverable to its related commitment information.
Deliverable screens have also been updated to make status and other key information easier to review.
Commitment Deliverable Notifications
Administrators can now configure email notification workflows for commitment deliverables, including notifications for created, assigned, due, overdue, and completed deliverables.
Notification settings can be configured by recipient and priority, helping teams stay informed about upcoming and outstanding commitment work.
Links in Inspection Helper and Hover Text
Inspection helper text and field hover text can now include HTML links, allowing administrators to provide users with direct access to supporting guidance, resources, or other relevant information while completing inspection forms.

🚀 Exciting Updates to the Lynx Experience: Inspections, Monitoring, Calendars & More
Version 4.9.2
LYNX VERSION 4.9.2
New Updates
Inspector Profiles
Administrators can now create Inspector Profiles to control which inspection forms are available to specific users or departments. Users assigned to an active profile will only see the forms included in their assigned profile or profiles, while users without a profile continue to have access to all inspection forms. Inspection Administrators can also be designated to manage inspection settings and Inspector Profiles. Visit Settings → Inspection Settings → Inspector Profiles.
Field Sheets for Monitoring
Monitoring now supports configurable Field Sheets. Administrators can create Field Sheets in Monitoring Settings, and users can associate a Field Sheet with a monitoring event to support field-based monitoring workflows.
Monthly Monitoring Compliance
Monitoring now supports monthly minimum and maximum limits in addition to existing sample-level limits. A new Monthly Compliance view summarizes monitoring results by month, location, and parameter, including the calculated monthly mean, applicable limits, sample count, and compliance status. Monthly compliance information can also be exported for reporting and review.
More Flexible Monitoring Limits
Global monitoring limits can now be associated with specific Monitoring Location Types. Administrators can apply a limit across all monitoring locations or restrict it to selected location types, providing more flexibility when configuring compliance requirements.
More Flexible Monitoring Result Imports
Monitoring result import configurations can now define which fields Lynx uses to determine whether an imported result should update an existing monitoring event or create a new one. This provides more flexibility for workflows where a Sample ID may not be known before samples are sent to a laboratory.
Custom Calendar Cards
Administrators can now configure how information appears on calendar cards through Event Settings. This allows organizations to tailor the information displayed on calendar events to better match their workflows.
Improved Email Integration Associations
When an email creates or updates an event through Lynx email integration, Lynx can now associate relevant Contacts, Contact Groups, Tags, and Topics based on the email content. Users reviewing an email-created event can confirm or adjust these associations before completing the review.
Reports Attached to Workflow Notifications
Incident, Event, and Action workflow notifications can now include an optional report attachment. Reports are generated for each recipient based on their Lynx permissions. For Incident notifications, users without access to investigation information will receive the appropriate Initial Incident Report instead of restricted investigation content.
Training Assignments by Department
Training assignments can now be filtered by Department, making it easier to review and manage training information for specific teams.
